After your concrete sidewalks or driveways are layered we highly recommend 4-5 days curing process. We also recommend not to salt your concrete the first year so that it can get accustomed to the extreme weather.

We recommend seal coating your driveway after the first year of your driveway being resurfaced or redone. After that we highly recommend doing it every 3 years for maintenance purposes to highly extend the life of your driveway and save you up to 300%.

A crack less than 1/8 inch can become 1/2 an inch within 6 months without proper care, which can lead to weakening of your pavement section and allow water to penetrate the subbase, which leads to pavement damage.

To insure a proper driveway or patio installation the first step is to make sure your subbase consists of 14-18 inches of crushed stone, than 4 inches of stone dust and than the paving stones.

Depending on the size of your project the installation will vary. A small project should consist of proper concrete footing for longevity. A large project may require an engineer consultation, which your paving company may be able to provide.
